Barse Jewelry Shopify / CommerceHub / Macy's Integration
Barse Jewelry extended the collaboration with Dscopify by choosing our solution for its Shopify, CommerceHub and Macy’s integration.
With Dscopify, a complete integration has been done to cover all the drop-shipping processes and flows required by CommerceHub and Macy’s.
Integration setup & configuration. As per Macy’s drop-shipping processes, integration of Shopify and OrderStream was done using SFTP as method of data transmission and EDI as data exchange format.
Macy’s EDI Testing. Covered the EDI testing phase to ensure full compliance as well as end-to-end integration (inventory upload, orders acknowledgement, orders fulfillment and cancellations).
Inventory sync. The inventory from Shopify to OrderStream is fully automated. Delta feeds, through EDI 846 (Inventory), are exchanged throughout the day and at least one full daily feed is also exchanged.
New orders. Incoming orders, through EDI 850 (Purchase Orders), from Macy’s to OrderStream are transferred automatically to Shopify. Also, the orders are acknowledged through EDI 997 (Functional Acknowledgement). With this flow, any need for manual data entry or import/export of files has been completely eliminated.
Order shipments. Orders are fulfilled directly from Shopify. EDI 856 (Fulfillment Confirmation) are exchanged with OrderStream to ensure the order is updated with the correct carrier and tracking details.
Order cancellations. When an order is cancelled in Shopify, the order is automatically updated in OrderStream through the EDI 856, along with the cancellation code.
