Targets provides multiple integration methods:
AS2 Connection: Utilizing Target’s subsidized TARGET_LORENDATA AS2 connection. Since this is subsidized, there is no charge for connecting to Target through this method.
Tier-1 EDI VAN: Establishing connections with Target via a high-performance EDI VAN.
FTP/SFTP/API Connection: Connecting to ECGrid through a low-cost mailbox using FTP, SFTP, or API.
We recommend the AS2 route for our connection with Shopify, as it offers a reliable and efficient setup.
Inventory synchronization ensures your quantities are sent from Shopify to Target using inventory feeds (EDI 846) at predefined schedules and regular intervals. Through our solution, we can configure your connection to:

Orders placed on Target DSV’s Partners Online portal are automatically transferred to Shopify, allowing you to manage all orders centrally from your Shopify admin. This approach lets you leverage existing connections you may have, such as:
3PL and fulfillment centers.

Partner accounting systems.
Once orders are processed in Shopify (fulfilled or canceled), our solution updates Target DSV’s Partners Online portal with the correct status and tracking information, streamlining your fulfillment process and saving you valuable time.
